  • I predict a win on Saturday at home...

Yes, for us. I have gut feeling and I have a very big gut.

Considering the promoted theme of the night, we'll all be dressed in our funeral attire.

Still, there's normally something about playing Creighton at home that brings out the fire in us.... although we're probably too young/inexperienced to care who it is we're playing.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

It's true that Creighton may have struggled and slid downward in the past few games, but it is apparrent that we have slid downwards further than they have.

The power of positive thinking: Close your eyes and visualize the scoreboard with no time remaining and the Shockers having more points than the Blue Jays. Visualize, Visualize, Visualize.
Because Denny Crane says so Dammit!

You, obviously, did not watch the Creighton / SIU game last night, and see the effort made by Creighton to steal that game in overtime.

I'd call them lucky if I didn't know better. SIU handed them the game, twice, but CU was there to take it as well.

It would be great if ALL the fans at the game would give 110 percent in their cheering and exhort the players...without the players or the coach asking for it.

Maybe the fans can lead by example...show everyone how LOUD it can be with the loudest game since the NIT game of years ago. Sure, it isn't all the fans responsibility, and it's hard to be LOUD and SUPPORTIVE when things are going bad...but someone has to show the way.

Fans can make a difference, and it can be very inspiring to a group of young men (including the coaches). :yahoo: :yahoo: :wsu_posters:   :posterwu: :posterwsu:

After all...that is what WSU fans are known for, and we do have our reputation to uphold.

Evidently his being at the game didn't help yesterday. Maybe our luck starts changing Saturday.

Despite the losing streak this year, I will give you Homers some credit, you keep on keepin' on. Even when we were good CU owned us, this next game won't be any different. Wake up people, there are just some teams that we don't have answers for and CU is just that team. We get whooped by 24.
