    No truer words were ever spoken and in a guard-oriented league like the Valley, an experienced PG can carry a team to a championship. In recent seasons there have been teams in this league that are carried into the upper division by their PG and would be mediocre at best otherwise (SIU, CU, NIU).

    Look at the Shocks success with Matt Brauer the last few seasons and lack thereof during his injury periods.

    With a big PG coming in next year as a frosh, the Shocks need the current guys to bridge the gap to when Manigault can take over.
