    .... I think it was 12.

Junior sports guy led into the KU/K-State game by saying it was (paraphrasing) "the game that determines who is the best team in the state."

Not sure I like his line of thinking.

The only way you get to make that kind of statement is if all the D-1 teams play each other. Not advocating a series, but I think you just leave that comment out of it.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill

Sitting at 0-5 in the Valley Iā€™d just leave this discussion alone.

Unfortunately, the question was answered about 6 minutes into the game when it was 18-0...and the answer was those turdburglars from Lawrence.

And, yeah, right now...we have ZERO argument in this discussion with regards to the Shox.

Did anyone see where Kentucky's Jodie Meeks dropped 54 on Tennessee last night?

Yeah, that kid was unbelievable! Tennessee had no answer for him. That was one of the more amazing performances I've seen.

He averaged under 9 ppg last year as a sophomore. This year he's at 25.9 with 5 games over 30 points.

To me, that just shows you what can happen when the light finally comes on and a player gets adjusted to his role and to D1 basketball. He also had some injury issues last season that hampered him.

I watched some of that game. It's impressive to watch athletes in the zone like that. A great performance by Meeks.

Are you familiar with the saying,

If thought to be a fool, it is better to keep your mouth shut, rather than opening it and removing all doubt.

KU has the best team, then K-State, and then us, although I would not call us a good team this year by far.

I don't care what transpired in the past, the order will pretty much stay the same because of RECRUITING. If Marshall gets some talent in here, we could challenge K-State for 2nd, but most likely - not KU.
