    Fever,

Usually, you are spot on in your careful analysis and brilliant conclusions. In this case you are dead wrong.

Entercom Company (1330 AM) is the absolute worst radio system in America.

And one more comment, the folks at Entercom don't care.

A few things I took from the show:

Dennis and Ron have to get lives.

      A poster here called in.

On Dennis' suggestion, we may wear gold on Wednesday.

Aaron Ellis took time off with the injury to take care of some academic issues that were a big problem. He was not even allowed to watch practice. When he came back he was lost. He is just now catching up.

He told Toure to act like it was the second half at the start of the game. Now we just have to convince him halftime is just a long timeout and the whole game is the 2nd half.

Drake was a bad matchup for Garrett and he is really, really struggling losing his man when he is in there defensively. He'd hoped this skill would have come along a little further by now.

We need a win to get some confidence and take off. Sunday was a little step forward.

MSU is a tough team. Similar to us last year in many ways and will lose 4-5 players at the end of this year and really need to recruit to rebuild. Cooks is back healthy and Creekmore is available as well. We will have to play better to win. Remember the pasting they gave us last year?

      Mostly very supportive calls.

          Jerome Hamilton:

Likes to dunk. When you ask him "Jerome what do you like to do?"

He replies "I like to dunk the basketball". 36" verticle and that's if he hasn't improved over the last couple of months.

A very good student, polite and respectful and being raised by his grandmother as his mother serves.

A "yes sir, no sir" young man. RDR will like him. He can run like a gazelle. Big men don't run like this guy, it's a thing of beauty. Again, RDR will like this kid. Raw. Strong as an ox.

Gabe Blair is tearing up practice.

Everyone will like this guy. I really enjoyed seeing him play this summer. A special kid indeed.

Hamilton runs a 4.5 40. That's probably right around Brauer's speed. Murry has shown that he can throw for distance with some accuracy.

I'm hoping that before those 2 are done at WSU that we're seeing something resembling a QB hitting a WR in full stride - ending with an "I love to dunk".
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

There were 2 questions that asked the exact same thing posted on here....verbatim. I don't have the proof, just a belief.

No need to look it up for me.

Not flaming or pointing out negatives but I am positive we heard this same line about AJ last year in regards to practice and though he has had signs of good I have to say he has not lived up to his expectations as of yet. But there is time. Lets hope both of them continue to develop into players that can help us win.

AJ was tearing it up in practice against an 11-20 team with a new system. Granted, he was learning the system as well but this year he is our 3rd or maybe 4th leading scorer. He's behind two newcomers and maybe Durley in points (sorry for not checking the stats).

You're right that he hasn't lived up to our expectations. As fans, our expectations are always a littie higher than they probably should be. NOT A BAD THING! Having said that, I'm hopeful that Gabe tearing it up in practice this year is a better sign than Hawk tearing it up last year.

Gabe is also doing it against the likes of Durley (weak defensively), Clemente (undersized), Stutz (inexperienced).

Having said that, he will be a solid addition.

In other words, he's doing to our players what other teams are doing to our players.
