THAT I DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE!!
I'll have the Prouty Rating up tomorrow. Those 5 players off the bench had bad ratings. Let's just say 2 of them had negative ratings and the other 3 were below 0.100 for the game.

    • That 89% FT stat is a HUGE improvement. I knew it was much better.

Turnovers are really what killed us tonight.

I keep waiting for Ramon to assert himself off the bench to show everyone why he should still be starting... maybe next game.

C'Mon Ramon. We need your rebounding presence.

I'll take that bet. If I lose you can throw me off the roof of my house. What do you have to offer?

Is that why he played only 1 minute all game? He's slow, does this mean HCGM is going to put Stutz permanently on the bench all season and play him sparingly?

This season is lost, get his ass out there so he can learn from his mistakes and learn what it takes to play MVC basketaball. He is not learning one damn thing playing only 1 minute of basketball.

How many time have we seen this team play a mostly a good half then lay down for the final minute to lose any momentum. Then they start the 2nd half and allow their opponents to come out and dominate. Shocks then fight back and make it a game and then fold?

That's the only one I recall being too upset about.
I just now started searching this thread to see if this had been mentioned, because it is exactly this kind of call that really drives me crazy. The only guys who consistently get away with such an obvious forearm are guys with "reputations". Mantas would have been called for charging; Durley would have been called; the Korvers would not. If not a charging foul, then at least let the fouls offset and have it be a "no-call".

              • Our defense was not very good. We shot 70% in the first half and led by 4?

Defense was part of it, but so were the turnovers.

                  • Haven't heard this stat, maybe I just missed it. How many of our turnovers did Drake turn into points?

                    • points off turnovers for Drake = 31.

                        • What is going on with Ramon? I never expected this kind of slump with him, especially after getting benched. Last night I expected him to come off the bench fired up since he didn't start.

When the combination of fouls and turnovers exceeds 30, it is difficult to win, unless the opponent has a poor combo number too. In the game, WSU's combo number was 43 and Drake's was 30.

Did you miss him flying out of bounds toward the corner of the WSU bench, and Coach and the rest of his teammates running over to help him up?

                              • Ramon's effort was there. He just wasn't effective last night.
