Who in the heck is Higgins?

Please bear with me here since I've never started a new thread. Someone tell be about the referee named Higgins. I've been a shocker fan and season ticket holder for years but darned if I have ever figured out which one he is. The reason I ask is that his name comes up somewhat frequently on the SN and many comments are made about his hatred of the Shox. Is he a local guy? Was there a notable incident in the past that has caused his name to be brought up? Does he officiate in other conferences? Please educate me. Thanks

Who's ever said anything about him having a hatred for the Shox? Higgins is known to let teams play but I've always thought he does a fairly good job. He's one of the few officials I recognize that I like to see on our games.

If Higgins doesn't have a hunny in the area, I'd be stunned. He does a ton of WSU games. He's also one of, if not the absolute BEST official we get.

I never worry about a game that he's in charge. We'll get a fair shake.

Well according to the second chart he contracts about 6 to 7 STDs per year. Man I'd hate to see his doctor and pharmaceutical bills for all that penicillin.

Some posts stand out more than others to some. I'm sure some have ripped him as almost all officials get ripped to some degree.

But John is one of the best.
