    Ex-UNI star has heart tumor removed
    Former Northern Iowa basketball player Grant Stout underwent successful heart surgery Thursday morning at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Head coach Ben Jacobson said doctors removed a small, non-malignant tumor from Stout’s left ventricle.

    wow. thats scary. hope everything is alright with stout. even though he played for uni i always enjoyed watching him play.

          I never enjoyed watching him play because he was usually dominating us on the floor; however, I do hope he recovers smoothly. Prayers go out to the Stout family.
