Well, this is the same Northern Iowa team that lost to Indiana St. at home so anything is possible. If we can play a little smarter, rebound, and maybe get some first half scoring then we will have a good chance to win. With that said, I see the Shocks winning 62-57.
Worst place in the valley to travel to, Cedar Falls, IA - 65
Garden of Eden - 57
IMHO Hanna can not score just 3 points tonight. If he scores 15 points or more has 5 assists and 0 TO we win. Plus if we can get 20 points out of our 5's and Ramon gets a double double we'll win. If not, you'll see a score like the one above.

Come on Shocks! :posterwu:
Has Hanna had a 0 TO night yet? Not many if so...I know that. His A/TO ratio is pretty decent but he still averages over 2 TO's per game. But I agree, we need a good game from him...and Murry IMO...with a solid game from our bigs while Ramon needs to stay out of foul trouble.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
To state the obvious we need 3 to 4 players in mid-double figures with average production from the rest, the Shocks need to improve their points off turn-over margin and win either the battle of the boards or hit > 60% on put-backs.
Our post battles admirably with their more experienced post. We outscore them from the post position. We also win the missionary position battle.

This will be a very good test for Garrett. I have said many times that Garrett is a lot more skilled that Jordan Egelseder right now. I know JE is going to be bigger and tougher but it will be interesting to see how this matchup pans out. GS needs to step up and be heard.
We are fortunate to have a really good group of young men both on and off the court paying their own way. Bret (should we call him single T in honor of MP?) and Mason have local ties, Reggie does not. He's paying out of state tuition. If you haven't met this young man, you do not know what you are missing. To say he is a polite, sharp, articulate, personable and friendly young man would almost be insulting. I haven't met a half dozen 18 year olds in my life that have it together more than this kid. He is the BEST. He'll be successful in whatever he does in life. I hope he is able to stay in Wichita until he graduates. We need all the Reggie Brittons we can get. I have to say that I never have done anything as a booster to cause the university a problem and in fact compliance gets tired of hearing from me, but a kid like Reggie sure makes me think. He deserves the things the other kids get. I love that kid. I hope he gets to play some before the season ends.

I'll take your word doctor. It'd be great to see him play 4 years like Nick Rogers did and earn a scholarship for a year or 2.
I'm surprised at you guys ... Northern Iowa isn't what they used to be and have no quality wins (not even SIU is a quality win this season) .. and they have no quality losses really. They can lose on their home court this year.
WSU is hungry.
