Valley SHOULD have no more than 1 loss this week (Indiana St)

I think SIU is in trouble this season.

I went to the MSU - Norfolk game last nite. MSU struggled with a terrible team and barely pulled it out in the end. I will be surprised if they beat Middle Tenn on monday.

BTW, JQH is as nice as I've been in.....Don't sit in section PP towards the top. I don't think you can see 1/2 of the court because of the scoreboard.

I heard from Bear fans it was gonna be the loudest and baddest-a**ed arena in the Valley..

CU also plays Tuesday. The opponent depends on the results of the Monday games...

It wss about 40% full last nite and never got loud. The fans did start complaining about the refs when they fell behind but that's about as loud as it got. I've been to a few games at AA Arena (where the Mavs play) and it reminds me alot of that place. Really nice.

I don't ever see it being as good of a home court advantage as the chuck is though.

I'm heading out to tonites game in a few minutes. I'll post my opinion on the bears if any of you are interested. I didn't want to without watching a couple of games.

Thanks Shockerfan for this update. Former Shocker opponent Michigan State got a nice 67-63 win versus #5 Texas last night. A nice move forward after being beat so soundly by North Carolina. The record of the Valley thus far is 63-39.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

MSU squeaked by a "not good" UCI Ant-eater team tonite. I will be very surprised if Da Bears beat Middle Tenn tomorrow nite.

As far as JQH being noisy.....not the past two nites. Having students there will make a difference but tonite reminded me of a library.

                      Thanks for the report.

Two 9-point home wins in a row against D-league competition. I guess they're wins, eh?

I still think their arena is a bit too big for that area. I guess they do have the Valley slate for a chance to prove me wrong.

                          Sycs fall to Ooeey-Pooeey, 62-41.

IUPUI is decent this year (beat Seton Hall, lost to Arizona St. in OT), but 21 points? Ouch.
