Actually, this was part of the KU season ticket package, just in KC. I believe this was listed as a home game. Their game against Syracuse in the CBE was a 'neutral'.

Again, this simply cements Self's position that he will never play WSU...anywhere or anytime in the regular season. 2-6 UMass?

This may sound like I am a KU apologists and I understand that, however, how do any of us make fun of a program where we wish we could be and just won another National Championship? Sure, the majority of KU fans are arrogant but I always say that WSU fans cracking fun at the occassional KU upset makes us look desperate and suffering from little brother syndrome.

I do not cry when I see KU lose, however, I just cringe when we start poking fun. Kind of remind of all those WSU fans who started talking so much smack during our 8-0 run two years ago, having a top ten ranking then we finish the season 17-14.

I do understand what you're saying and agree with it pretty much. From what topics I've actually seen talking about WSU on phog.net this season, they have actually been saying good things about our team (I'm not saying their opinion means much or anything, just saying that I'm sort of surprised with that).

However, you do have to admit that KU losing on their home floor (basically) to 2-6 UMASS is at least a little bit funny.

That was indeed a great time and I remember the unbelievable resentment out of the KU community during our great start and increased media coverage. I'm hoping for more top-10 rankings in the future!

What was that run at Syracuse? 29-1? I nearly put my head through my basement ceiling I was hopping around so much! Great times... greeeeeeeeeeeaaaat times...
