Here's the deal. The 'cold and lonely road stretch' exposed areas of both encouragement and concern. Thus, I do believe that we will come out swinging Friday with positive results.

Yes I will, my exact words will be, "Thank goodness we didn't choke another home game in front of our fantastic fans (see also UMKC)."

If we lose however watch out.

I'm scared to predict because I'm starting to think all this predicting is somehow jinxing them, but I do think we'll get a much needed win.

I'll be anxious to see them back in Koch Arena again.

                    Welcome home Shox!

...and Ramon Clemente actually chews off the leg of a GW player during a media timeout. Infused with the blood of his victims, he records yet another double-double. HE is the G****** Batman.

Why does everyone think we can score 70 or more points in a game?

                            Shox - 64
                            GW - 61

A win gives us a shot at a winning season...a loss puts us on the road to a losing season and would be very, very disappointing

I disagree.... one game won't make or break a season. Granted, we've lost several in a row, but there's still a LOT of basketball to be played. The Valley is far from as strong as it was a couple of years ago, and all it will take will be for the team to start figuring the offense out. When they do, I predict it will be a bit of a 'snowballing' effect, and all aspects of our game will improve as a result.

So, to me we need a win--period. But I am not about to predict a losing season if we don't win it. I think we will win it though.
