  • Shox-TCU Pregame thread

Should be a big game on the boards for the shox. TCU's second highest scorer and leading three point shooter is 6'6 Lithuanian, maybe it will inspire Mantas. They also start a center from Croatia.

Very nice work 02. I was impressed when reading the TCU pregame you put up. A lot of great info!

I'm personally looking forward to this game tomorrow because it isn't against a BCS school. I love the fact that we got to play so many this year, (would have liked to won one of those games...) but it'll be interesting to see the Shox play against a "MVC quality" team after having played some tougher than MVC schools within the last couple weeks. Also because we've actually had time to rest between TTU and this game. That's my take on it.

Go Shox! :wsu_posters:  :posterwu:

              Daniel Meyer Coliseum

The DMC was built in 1961 and resembles Koch/Leavitt pretty well.

              Same architects?

              It seats about 3,000 less.

I've always been a fan of MacPherson's gym and a quick Googling shows that there is a spate of round gyms in Ohio.

What other "Roundhouses" are out there.

IIRC, Purdue and Iowa's gyms are very similar to Koch.

It took a while for the Shockers to have a blog. But it's a good one! Thanks shocks02.

Bob says "if it weren't for the purple seats and the lack of fans, it would be hard to tell the difference between the DMC and the old Leavitt"
