  • FWIW, from a Siena fan

I sometimes like to peruse opponent boards after the fact. A Siena fan on their board shared that he felt we were a better team than OSU and were perhaps the best coached team in the tournament.

On its own, it ism't much. But as these types of statements become more frequent and are added together I think it reflects what college b-ball fans in general (or more accurately, those familiar with our team) think about the WSU program.

Thanks Royal. It's nice to hear that coming from an opponent's fan base.

Last weekend should have re-affirmed in all of our minds the fact that it's only the beginning. Perhaps the Orlando tourney can be chalked up as a starting point in the steady upward climb of our program--a climb that we can expect for years to come.

Who knows what the limits are, but I think the sky is the limit.

Maybe Orlando can be our anti-Vegas.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The Siena we saw in Orlando were a classy bunch. A few of them who stayed after their 1st loss adopted the Shocks during the G-Town game. They were asking us what a Wu Shock was and were really friendly.
