MSU vs WSU Game thread

Marshall shows an average amount of emotion and hightower tells him to tone it down, chill out and call the game dude. Another hard fought half with lots of missed rebounds which I hope will change this half.

We have to be strong the the ball. These guys are quick jumpers and quick to go get the rock. Some head and shoulder fakes and going up strong needed the 2nd half. Only 33% FG shooting by MSU 1st half and 39% for us.. They are playing at our pace but we got out rebounded with Ramon out much of the 1st half.

We're doing a good job defending their free throws, too.

We have go to be more effective on offense and take advantage of the opportunity given to us. MSU will start making shots eventually.

I pretty much agree. Ugly offense so far, mainly due to MSU's on-ball pressure. So it probably appears to be worse than it really is. But our O still hasn't looked efficient yet this year.

From the radio it sounds like the refs are calling the Shockers tighter than MSU. Do people watching agree?

I'm not watching, but it would seem that Hightower has already gotten on Marshall's case. I'd like that not to effect how he calls the game.

We've also been settling for jump shots and not attacking. So of course we're going to get called for more fouls.
