Remember that they shot over 50% (53%) against Centenary, so they haven't shot poorly against all opponents.
You can just see the inexperience and the really silly decision making that is accompanying that. Taking more high percentage shots is the key to better overall % and they are missing easy layups sometimes. To me, that's nerves and lack of focus. They played with a bit of confidence yesterday, and we've yet to see that confidence today. They also have to take more open shots and not force them and their percentage will rise as well. So to me, it's not just a simple "You either can shoot, or you can't" because there are far more issues involved than that.
The good news is that as bad as certain things have gone so far, with this team they are just as likely to turn it around in the 2nd half. They certainly have it in them. Consistency is what will plague this team all season I am pretty sure. Hopefully it will get better as we go along.
