it was better i wouldn't say we took momentum because they scored in the final seconds

To be fair, we got that shot yesterday with Kyles at the end of the 1st half.

We'll probably be seeing more of Ellis at the 3.

These close misses are driving me nuts. No way they don't start to fall sooner than later.

We lack flow in our offense. A lot of 1 on 1 stuff still. It's early in the year so hopefully that'll all be a distant memory later.

I want to see more 'team' ball. If I wanted to watch 1 on 1 ball, I'd go watch the NBA, and actually watch guys make a few layups.

            ... No really, deuces.

Siena looked pretty tough in the Tennessee loss. I do belive they made it to the 2nd round at the Dance last year. We still could beat them but we have to make these easy shots, quit turning the ball over, and play better defense.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Uh, I'm not that impressed with Siena, and really wasn't too impressed with Georgetown either. I think you're underestimating how bad we suck. I mean we're talking missed layups, sloppy play, no offense. This is on us..
We're talking about basketball in November. The rest of the college basketball fan-base hasn't even realized that the season has begun yet. Give it some time, man. We're playing what, 11 freshman and sophomores? It's a work in progress.
That is all well and good, but I don't see how you can expect this team shooting woes to change. You can either shoot (or in Marshall venicular be a "Maker") or you can't. This team can't shoot and that has been pretty consistent regardless of the opponent.
I believe this team CAN shoot, they haven't figure out what a good shot is and how to create them...but they can shoot. It will eventually come around, it's just a matter of how long will it take.

Royal, it was still ugly basketball. Ellis looks good from the outside. We're just making foolish mistakes. Sienna is not playing well either. One huge positive is our rebounding. We wouldn't be within 20 without it. It's not just Ramon either.

If we can play that bad and only be down by a few. We may pull this one off. We should play better in the 2nd half.

I hope you're right because I wouldn't be able to stand a team that plays like a certain team in Carbondale, Illinois. Yuck..

Hitting guarded jumpers does not impress me. Pounding the glass, playing defense and not being confused impresses me.

Aaron has been hitting the boards hard of late and that's a good sign. Personally, even though they went in, I haven't liked his shot selection at all so far.

                        • We all knew that last year's team was a bad shooting team. But this year's team seems just as bad. Is it just too early in the season and they're still getting comfortable playing with each other?

                          • How do you shoot around 30%, turn the ball over 14 times, and still stay within 7 at the half?

                            Unbelievable..

                            • For sure we should be a better shooting team than last year. However, we still are missing chip shots at an alarming pace thus far.
