Last game was not one of Ramon's better stats productions. However, I noticed a play where Stutz took the rock to the rack and slammed. Ramon was grinning from ear to ear after that play. That was cool. When Ramon goes for a rebound, don't try to get it because he might throw your arm out of socket. Ramon worked hard in the summer on developing a more complete game and the improvements are obvious. Mr. Clemente is a Senior that leads by his efforts on the court, and even getting his fellow players working on things like free throws off the court.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Ramone, may be the type of leader that Eric Wedge was during the National Champion year. Wasn't it McDonald with the broken leg at first that refused to come out because he was afraid Wedge would beat the crap out of him? Now thats what I call leadership by intimidation. Which isn't always a bad thing.

I was wondering why Ramon didn't have a great game against Centenary.
"I had a terrible cold, but it's all good," he said. "It was good to see my teammates going to the boards real hard."
Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall knew nothing of Clemente's cold. He did notice some "chill bumps" on Clemente's body as he came out of he game on one occasion, though.
