Evans was looking good and looked to be a signivicant part of SIU's inside game.

I hate to see this happen too. However, when you play thug basketball, this will be a bi-product of that style.

That kid is going to be really, really good.


We've suffered more than our fair share of injuries lately so I really feel for them. However, the cupboard is by no means bare in Carbondale and they play harder than any team in the conference so whether he's healthy or not, they are going to give us all we want and probably more.


I KNEW that Garrett was the best big man in the league until I saw Evans play. Now I am not positive.

As a Saluki fan I am happy that this should only put him out for 4-6 weeks. Thank god it is his non-shooting hand, he could be back for conference play. NE has been a real pleasant surprise and everyone is corret that we should get to see some real battles between NE and GS the next 4 years.

Still amazing that NE has been playing organized BB for only a couple of years.
