The VALLEY is not making the Valley look good.


Even CU, without the assistance of a complete and total meltdown from NM would be saddled with a bad loss at this point and even so they've hardly been intimidating to this point in the season and they are by far the best team in the conference.

Right now teams that are just plain bad......Indiana State, us, Bradley and UNI.

Winning, but competition is awful so it's tough to get a read on yet: Evansville and Illinois State

Teams that have been a pleasant surprise or just good so far: CU, SIU, MSU

Drake is the one left out and they would fit between bad and tough to get a read on.

The Valley is just plain down and I'd be a bit shocked to see us in the top 10 in conference ratings when all is said and done.

The Valley indeed doesn't look good. However I'm not calling us bad until we get walloped three times in Orlando. I just have a feeling it won't happen.

I agree. I would put us in the wait and see category. We've blown away 2 opponents we should blow out and lost 1 close one we shouldn't lose. Hard to get a read so far. If we aren't at least competitive in 2 of 3 games in orlando then I may say we are bad right now. Until then the jury is out for me
