Lot of colleges in that Top 10 that have players appearing in the Recruiting forum.

I know I have seen people discuss Eck and his relationship with WSU, is the possibility of opening a good recruiting relationship there?

I know HCGM has spoke very highly of Coach Eck and has expressed interest in developing that relationship.

        Cowley

It's no surprise to see Cowley at #1 under Eck, and I for one would love to see the Shocks establish a good recruiting relationship there.

Eck recruits good talent, but more than that, he teaches and prepares his guys VERY well to move on. You'd have to look a long, long, LONG time to find a more accomplished teacher and coach, as his spectacular record shows. And, despite all the Eck-anoia we've seen on here, there is absolutely no reason to think he has anything whatsoever against Marshall and his program at WSU.

Three Rivers is a good juco connection to have; so is Chipola. Cowley under Eck could be just as good or better.

I can't remember the details but I also have the impression from past statements by Marshall that he has a good relationship with coach Eck.

Besides, it wouldn't make any sense at all for GM or any coach not to establish good relationships with all JUCO college and all HS coaches in Kansas and the surrounding states. Afterall, those coaches play a valuable role in influencing and advising their youngsters where they might fit in at the next higher level.
