transfer question

Just an idle thought, if a walk-on (Felter, Brittain, whoever, just hypothetical), decides to transfer after this season is over, to a D-1 school that is offering him a scholarship, does he hafta sit out a year? We probably have addresses this here before, but does anybody know? Does a walk-on transferring into a skollie situation still have to sit a year?

Yes...see Nick Bahe for a reference. He went from a walkon at KU to Creighton and had to sit a year.
