Why did Hatch have jaw surgery this summer? I must have missed something but I do know he looks different this year in the face. Could someome enlighten me on why he had it.

Because he had too much lower jaw and underbite, to the point that it made him look funny. He had this corrected.
This surgery might have contributed to his new confidence he seems to be showing. Plus he got married this last summer. -
