It is a very cool site with a lot of tutorials. Some of them are easier than others and some of them are more useful, but the breadth of info in one place is great.

There's my problem. I'm too cheap to pay for and learn Photoshop. I use Paint.NET which is nice, but much more limited. Though, TxShox has done some nice things using it.

Keeping off-topic....

It's a double edged sword.

On the one hand, Adobe is getting jacked every time someone pirates a copy of one of their programs.

On the other hand, Adobe knows that next to no one would know how to even use Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc. if they were all forced to pay $500 plus a pop. In other words, without the piracy, the legitimate industry might not exist, at least not at the level of dominance it's at.

They've tried to stem the tide by creating Photoshop Elements, a stripped down version that runs less than $100, last I checked. They also make almost all their software available free for 30 days in downloadable trial versions (same as the regular version, only become inoperable after 30 days of initial use), but 30 days is hardly long enough for someone to become more than a novice at most graphic design programs.

As nice as Photoshop is, The GIMP is almost as good and completely free.
