What a foul fest! No one will be left to play the last ten minutes at this rate.
Because Denny Crane says so Dammit!

That fest will favor KU in the end.. guaranteed.

And for the record, KU barely looks like a Top 100 team, much less a Top 25 team. This same UMKC team lost at home to North Dakota on Friday night..

If we don't beat UMKC by at leat 15, it's going to be a long season. :innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

I expect a tough game the first half. If our big guys prevent the dribble penetration and stay out of foul trouble we should be ok.

Amazingly only one person fouled out and even then in the last 2 minutes. I think at least 4 or 5 other UMKC players had 4 though. It was ugly.

After last year's loss to UMKC, I want the Roos embarrassed. I want to see the players looking at their shoes when they walk off the floor of CKA. I want my anger from last year turned into shame and self loathing.

                  Still bitter about that game.

(Yes, I know who is to blame, and this is a silly take but it is my take gosh darn it.)

Anyone else hear Ramon putting out the warning?

Don't remember word for word as I was in the kitchen when he said it, but basically said they took it too them because they didn't respect WSU and the gym they were playing in.

That attitude will be infectious in the locker room this week, especially for Wednesday. Hopefully that also carries over and multiplies as the season goes on.

                      When did he say this?

I think it was in the post-game press conference. I caught it this morning while watching either KAKE OTL or Sports Sunday on those station's websites.

What I heard was Ramon mentioning how much trash FAMU was talking in the first half.

Yeah, I saw it last night. He basically said they were disrespecting the team and talking a ton of trash the whole game. At the end you could see Ramon going through the line shaking their hands...he didn't seem to like them much or even want to look at them.

                            And that's why they're playing for a MEAC team that's a perennial 300-RPI'er.

I think it's great that all the new players are learning about respect for the building, respect for the team, and what's required to get that respect.

That should be a great boost for the old team chemistry. Glad to hear Ramon's the one leading the charge on this.
