I haven't heard anything about a sell out. At the womens game yesterday they said tix were still available. Haven't heard anything since. Any chance you can call the ticket office and fine out?

I've said this every year... there will ALWAYS be tickets available regardless of a sell-out or not. Just go to the arena and you will find a ticket (s). You can do the same at every KU sold-out game. In fact, you can find tickets to 95% of sold-out events across the country and rarely will you have to pay scalpers price.

Thanks everyone. I'll just go and get one outside the area if necessary.

          Fans keep sellout streak alive

A losing season, ninth-place prediction and bad economy would seem to be a certain sellout-killer for a college basketball program.

Those factors have not yet bitten into ticket sales for the Wichita State men's program, which takes a streak of 43 straight regular-season sellouts into today's game. Entering the weekend, around 300 tickets remained, making it almost certain to sell out (WSU counts tickets sold, not butts in seats). If a Sunday afternoon game against Florida A&M in mid-November doesn't end the streak, it may roll on for a long time.

"Cautiously optimistic," said Brian Pracht, WSU associate athletic director.

A Sunday afternoon regular season opener during football season isn't the most ideal setup for asking for a sell-out.

I would call the ticket office just in case, but in reality, you should be fine.

If we're counting regular season games only as part of the 'streak', then I'd say it ends today.
