Monday's scores updated:
Missouri St almost blew it, but held on to give the Valley a record of 1-0 on the evening
All of our potential/guaranteed opponents did well also going 5-0 on the evening."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

This gives me some hope for our Orlando opener. :goshocks:
Just like I think it was the worst thing that could happen for SIU is to have Duke struggle against URI on their home floor. Now they will be out to "re-prove" themselves....not good for the Saluki's."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. I was at the Georgetown-Jacksonville game. Georgetown will need a few games to get the offense going; the 4-year starting point guard and 4-year starting center graduated last year, so things look quite a bit different. But defensively the Hoyas were very good last night--Monroe in particular is a beast. It will be important for any team hoping to beat them to get Monroe in foul trouble and go after the backups.
