Feel free to predict those games if you like but I will keep the official tally on a separate post. This contest will end October 16. After that we may do another one but I am looking for picks without seeing the team here.

Predict MVC Tourney Record and any post season appearance, no record needed for fun only. Those games do not count in the contest.

Tie Breaker will be closest to the total score of the final Drake game.

1st D1 college game for too many players. Shocks will look good but come up short in the end. They will win the other 2 games in the tourney handily and Coach Drew announces the Bears were lucky to play WSU early. You won't want to play them down the road.

22-7 prior to post season. I will concede 1 unexpected loss in the MVC from the above prediction so I will say a final score of 21-8. 12-6 in conference should be good enough for the top 4 or better.

For the purposes of the contest my final numbers would be 18-8 (taking out the BB game and the final 2 PJ games) and the Drake total would be 133.

State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament - 2-1

Post Season - NIT

That's 21-11 before post-season.

11-7 in the Valley. Should be good for at least 3rd or 4th. 2 NCAA teams and 2 NIT teams for the Valley, but the NIT teams depend on how the NCAA handles the selections for the NIT, which I think could be more BCS-prejudiced than the NIT has previously been.

MSU finishes 3rd or 4th in the Valley. Loses in the semi-finals in St. Louis and is the last team out of the NIT. Barry gets another one-year contract extension and MSU fans storm the campus in full riot gear carrying torches.

'Cause I am saying based on the record predicted their won't be a post-season, but that doesn't matter if Shockers win MVC tournament, which I will predict we win unexpectedly this year. Oh yeah.

I definitely wouldn't have a problem with winning the MVC Tournament.
