Some have seen them play... Maybe limited amounts of time but have still seen what they can do.

I don't know if it was in this thread on another but I did do some evaluation of some of the MVC recruits. I haven't seen many of their AAU games, but I've seen one or more of each of the players I made comment about. My thoughts were drawn on those observations and of course the comments made by others that have seen them more.In the fast lane

These pre-season ratings don't mean a lot. We had a player that was in the top 5 for the MVC per one of the services and has since been released by the team and I think he even has shown up as a top 12 JuCo player and has never had the stats to support his rankings. Kenny is different than that player in that he has shown the ability to put up the numbers to back up the rankings. He shoots well, has excellent assist numbers and rebounds well from the guard position.
I kinda doubt that he will start next year if he doesn't red-shirt but that is a decision that I trust HCGM to make. If he doesn't red-shirt he will be hard to keep of the floor.

I guess it is only natural to hype up incoming players for that of course is where the future lies.
One of these years, even when we have a bunch of experienced players returning, GM is going to recruit one or more players who will be good enough to start as freshmen. And that will be one fine day. For when that that eventually happens, his program will start to reach the pinacle we all hope it will achieve.
Perhaps, we should at least wait until we see how much improvement these two potentially fine BB recruits achieve in their senior HS year before making such bold predictions. And even then, they will still both have to beat out experienced sophs, juniors, and seniors who will have had one or more years of D-1 experience.
And I personally hope they both achieve it, but . . . I'll believe it when I see it.
