The stagnation seems to be at the point and when there's a hick-up the guys running the set seem to be oblivious the guy needs help. At least that's my take on many of the offensive breakdowns.

A lot of quick shots on our end..

and a TOTAL lack of interior defense.. :-x

Come on. Don't let these guys pick up so many garbage points.

Yes, for a team of shooters that has been a disappointment.

Comfortable lead. Maeshall playing some second-stringers. Almost looks like he's trying for a closer game for a little late-game practice.

It's not working - WSU is opening the lead and won.

I'm waiting for the posts from the Hatch-hatrers. I doubt we'll see many.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Hatch was much improved and had a well rounded game. He will get some playing time. It's hard to say who won't get PT besides Mason Felter.

                          71-58 Final.

                          The FT's were a disappointment.

A lot of good stuff from everybody. The defense was suspect at times and that's something I figured would be the least of the issues.

Our perimeter/guard offense is looking legit. Chamberlain and Hannah are flat-out shooters. Hatch definitely looked improved. Didn't pay attention to what he was doing on the defensive end though. Durley looked good inside. A lot of good passes made in the game as well. Ramon, as always, was an aggressor, and had double-figure rebounds.
Lots of things to work on, but I'm satisfied after 1 exhibition game.

The announcers and HCGM all sounded like they though things went well.

I was keeping an eye on Hatch on D, much better than last season, for sure. He was able to keep up with his man, but was getting beaten on the first step a little too often. Against these guys, he was able to scramble to catch back up, but against a true driving guard, he'd be toast. However, that's what Chamberlain and Murry are for.

Off the ball he was solid, doing a great job of taking away No. (I won't miss a three) 22's shots, forcing him to pass or drive when he got the ball. Got to say I like how he matches up against pure shooters.
