-Sycamores overcame a late Albion lead to squeak by. It sounds as though it was close all the way as Albion got out to a 8 point lead early and only trailed the Sycamores by 3 at the half.
-Sycamores did connect on 30-37 FT's for a sizzling 81.1%. Their 18 point advantage at the line is the ONLY reason Indiana St pulled this one out.
-For the game the Sycamores shot 35.6% from the field and 36.8% from the 3 point line. Meanwhile Albion outshot the Sycamores connecting on 7 more baskets than Ind. St while shooting a better percentage of 41.1% and 42.9% from 3.

-The Aces had an easy time with Earlham pretty much from the get go. They had 44-23 lead at half and never looked back. Much what you would hope ANY valley team would do against a D III team!
-Evansville shot 44.4% from the field but only connected on 3-18 3 pointers for 16.7%. The Aces outscored Earlham by 6 from the line and shot a respectable 72.7% from the charity stripe.
-Evansville had 3 players who scored in double figures led by Nate Garner who recorded a double double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds over the much more undersized Earlham squad. The Aces finished with a commandable 60-27 advantage on the boards.
