I'm not sure whether to be encouraged by Toure, disappointed with Reggie, both or neither.

But this might make more sense and give Hannah more time at SG than he would have received if Reggie was our starting SG with Toure backing up. And of course, it sounds like Hatch will be in the mix.

I have thought since about Dec 1, 2007 that Toure' would start.

This comes as no surprise to me and in fact if it happens I will be thrilled. The kid flat out gets it.

On a different note let me simply say

        Thanks C.

As soon as I read Cold's expose', I knew there would be issues.
It's one thing to mention a snipet or two, but when you go into detail as Cold did, the unwritten rule about crossing the line comes into play.
It reminds me of past times when I would pass along a tidbit or two of information and get berated by certain individuals for not spilling the whole pot of beans. There was (and still is) a reason for limiting inside news.

I wondered why there were armed guards outside the Chuck today. Thanks Cold.

Cold & "crossing the line" is anyone really surprised?

For the record, I think HCGM has a ways to go to turn up the pressure on these young men. I wonder what Cold would say to witnessing the Darby phase of Ranger School or weed out week at the Q course? If folks take a walk to the quitters tent so be it the program is most always better off without the mentally week. I do like Cold's almost eternal optimism.

I for one thoroughly enjoy the Mr. Suellentrop's blog.

I suppose Coach Marshall is now on an even shorter leash with Cold.

That blog pretty much sums up what I heard... It could be a long season. :( But with our youth, hopefully we turn it around by the start of Valley play.

Nothing in my thread revealed anything more than what everybody already knows: HCGM is one tough S.O.B.

Over the years I have had more inside information from players, friends of the program, etc. etc. than I could care to remember. I have shared practically none of it publicly or privately. This demonstration by the Shocker staff and the Shockernet commi*cough* admins is very dissappointing. There were plenty of people in the arena when I watched and nothing I said was untrue, improper, or revealing. So coach is a hard-ass? What's new? In fact, most everything I shared was generic enough to just have been made up...

Marrty, what in the blog suggested that it was so evident that it could be a long season. we have all known that it might be a long season but I didn' see anything in this blog that would add anything discouraging.
                      what did I miss?

It really is no fun when you can't share it. But if I did, I would be too embarrassed to face the person that shared it with me...

Just a couple PM's with a very select few (who also had a lot of info) was as far as I had the balls to go...

Cold I just want to say that you are truly a special person, to be blessed with such insider information and showing the restraint to hold it back from the general public is very admirable.

I think I can say for all ShockerNet members you are our hero.
