No offense, because I appreciate the coverage, but hasn't that been said for months, if not years, now?

No podcast? Guess I'll miss it. Can someone give a rundown that is able to listen? My FedEx truck isn't equipped with a radio LOL.

That's good to hear and I hope it happens sooner rather than later. I can't get audio at work so I'll be relying on someone to keep us posted on what happens.

Got in on it REAL late. I'm taking a break from delivering pakages :P.

Kyles - Needs to be consistent, but has done well. I came in on the middle of him talking about Kyles, so didn't hear much of this statement.

Stutz - pushed around by K-State and didn't rebound well...was in awe. But yesterday really went after it and looked like the player they hope he'll become.

-So far shooting better this year, also better free throw shooting. Drill where they have to make 75% or more FT's when gassed or they run. So far no one has had to run due to this.

-Going to try and get it to Stutz and Durley on the block to score this year as they can both score.

-Airing interviews with players tomorrow on Gameplan

-Aaron Ellis injured..out indefinately with toe.

Ellis is reported to have a sprained toe, a guy that works in the AD's office told me it was 'turf toe'. Same thing or not?

Yes, coach said at the Tipoff Luncheon yesterday that Aaron has "turf toe".

I got this from wikipedia. "Turf Toe" is a sprain of the toe that causes pain at the base of the big toe, located at the ball of the foot. Turf toe is usually caused from either jamming the toe, or pushing off repeatedly when running or jumping. The most common complaint is pain at the base of the toe, but patients may also have symptoms of stiffness and swelling.

The injury can be debilitating for athletes who need to accelerate, 'cut' quickly, or jump. Use of the toes is not possible during the healing process. Since the toes are necessary for proper push-off when accelerating, those sorts of athletic activities can be almost completely curtailed. A healing period of one or more months is often required.

WICHITA -- Local media converged on Charles Koch Arena Thursday afternoon for the annual Wichita State Basketball Media Day held in the media interview room of the facility.

That was good info about the team.

Sounds like Hannah/Murry to start, with Reggie/Kyles/Hatch to relieve, and with Hatch relieving Hawkins at the 3. I believe that Hatch is 6'4", and a leftie.

Clemente and Jt at the 4 and 5 to start with Stutz coming in, and probably Griskenas since Ellis is out for a while.
