Today is MVC media day. They released their preseason poll and WSU was picked 9th, ahead of MSU.

I see nothing from UE that would make me think they'd be picked higher. I might be able to understand to some degree ISU. They do have a little bit of talent returning I believe. I still don't see us playing on Thursday when the season ends.

I don't get the InSU love. Arguably their best player (Stinson) left school. That would be equivalent to WSU losing Hawkins, IMO. Jay Tunnel doesn't strike me as the type of guy who can carry a team. Their post play will be solid but we all know that guard play is key in the MVC.

Evansville is K-State football from the 80's.....The good news is that everyone's back.....the bad news is that everyone's back.

maybe it's beause of everyone knew on the team. most of the guys are new and they can't really say where we'll place. I sense some "Tampa Bay Rays" type aura from this team (not the team in the series now but all the way up til now)

I like it. We are being totally overlooked and dissed. But as Doc says its just talk.

You know it will turn up the heat inside of HCGM.

If the team doesn't like it they will have plenty of opportunities on the court to prove the so-called pundits wrong and that's exactly what I expect them to do.

The fans can help by continuing to make the Chuck loud and proud this year, which is also exactly what I expect them to do.

Maybe we have a run in us like they did last season. In my opinion you could put teams 4-10 in a hat and however it ends up won't surprise me. I do think we will be a 6th place team at worst.

Actually, I expect ISASO to show up soon to jump on this one.
I do recall him quoting our 9th place pick a few years ago on numerous occasions and it appears history is sort of repeating itself. 8)
