I was with four other guys at the MVC tourney in March 2008.

We were in line to buy tickets and Ms. Marshall came up and offered us tickets to the game.

Oh, and we accepted her offer.

I thought the article was a nice read. I especially liked this:

“In June of this year we were flying home from a beach vacation in South Carolina and as we flew over Kansas and saw the terrain, I just knew we had made that transition and it felt really good to be home,” said Llynn.

Nice story but I'd expect a 5th grader to write with better grammar and proper spelling and punctuation.

Just what is wrong with a record setting, run-on sentence?
