said hes glad the first year is over. that the family is finally in a routine and its not so chaotic now. says recruits know about the fans and the facilities of WSU. What he tries to sell them on when recruiting is the city of Wichita in its entirerty. Also said hes going to still go after his type of players and coach his style even though its not quite as physical as the valley. Eventually hopes to make the valley adjust to our style like people had to adjust to drakes style last year.

Bruce while doing a entertaining interview, was unable to get any "real" information about this year's team. There were no questions about specific players or injury situations. It would have been nice to hear about the rehabs of several shockers and the growth of guys like AE & JT.Comment

Bruce didn't ask him about JT or Mantas, which would have been a good question because of their injury situations.
As far as what was said at the beginning--he mostly talked with him about the golf tourney again when HCGM was a caddy. That was about it, and then the rest is contained in a previous response.Comment

He also said there is one more scholly and was still looking. If he didn't find his kind of player, he would just hold it till Spring. Did not specify what "kind" of player he was looking for.Comment

I asked Paul S. on the "Ask the Expert" deal on the Eagle website about the progress of JT and Mantas. He said Mantas is 100% and practicing and JT was practicing and was near 100% about 10 days ago, and that he hoped to make it to a practice to find out more updated info.Comment
