    Shocker Madness Oct. 25

    This according to the Shockwaves blog. It will follow after the volleyball match scheduled for earlier in the evening. This is a SATURDAY this year, which hopefully will please more people with young kiddos.

    Also, maybe it will bring people out to the volleyball match and fill those stands!

    Sat, Oct 25 Drake * - - Wichita 6 p.m. (Drake is 5-0 right now!!)

    Basketball stuff
    SEPT. 3, 20082:23 P.M.
    A few bits of news from the basketball program:
    Shocker Madness for the men and women is Oct. 25 following a volleyball matchup against Drake at 6 p.m.
    Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
    Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

      If you really want people, families and kids out there, have the VB team stick around, hand out VB posters and have them autograph.

      An old fashioned kissing booth would probably draw even bigger numbers. :goshocks:

        This is great news. This is how it was done a couple of years ago. A great way to try and get people to go to the VB match and allows many to stay out a little later since it's not a school night.

            Crap. I think I'm going to be in Independence that day. I'd love to be able to take in both events. Maybe we can come back through in time to catch the scrimmage.

            At any rate, I like that they are combining the two and was hoping they would this year.
