I love Outlook. Nothing like entering some data and then getting the reminder of game day. I can't wait for basketball & post-game drinks & appetizers at Yia Yia's.

        Here's how it will break down. 3-0, anything but 0-5, 3-0, 1-2, 1-2, 1-1 then finish 8-3 or 7-4 going into STL.

17-13 with postseason left. 1-1 in STL then either KU or KSU at the Chuck in the NIT.

Ok, I'm going to have another beer now.
Id be happy with that result! :good: 8) 8) :yahoo:
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Now that I've had some time to think over this schedule, and if my memory is right (we signed home-and-homes with TCU and TTech), our 2009-10 home schedule should look pretty good.

Another thought: Do we always end the Valley sched. on the road? When was the last time we had our final game at Koch? And are we always playing the top Valley team on their Senior Night?

This might be total speculation, but I think the Valley just likes to twist the knife that's been stuck in our back a little.

          Just kidding

.....unless you all agree with me....

in which case, I stand by my point.

The year we went to the S16 we ended the year at home.

[quote="C0|dB|00ded"]Absolutely nobody coming to our building this year... *sigh*

You sure do sigh a lot, Cold -- you may have passed our old buddy KC as the leading downer around here.

The better games will come, as will improvement for the Shocks, and in the meantime there's still the Valley. Plus, you can dress up as a janitor or something and try to sneak into the scrimmage against K-State.

In 2006, we ended the season at home against Illinois State. In 2005, I believe that was the year Jacobsen of UNI ended our season at home.

And Southern Illinois is, by far, not the 'top' Valley team this year.
                Deuces Valley.
                ... No really, deuces.

                  UNI

Vbird, didn't the Shocks finish at home their final NIT year under Turgeon, when they blew their NCAA spot by dumping a big lead late and snatching a defeat against the UNIs on that last second three-pointer?

Finishing at home has been known to be an unpleasant experience, too.

Just to clarify, we will travel to the little apple this year and if all goes well, back to ICT in '09.

                        Okay

Thanks, Doc; sorry about the schedule goof. But, really, I'm pretty sure they have janitors in Manhattan too.

This may have been covered somewhere else, but what ever happened to us playing LSU at a neutral site?
