That date can't come soon enough and hopefully before the season starts because once this kid starts playing there are going to be a lot of schools go "Um, so you're still open to where you want to go, right?"

KJ looks like the real deal. WSU is going to be deep with tall guards for a few years to come.

        Carpenters' joke:
A guitar player died and thought he had gone to heaven. There was Pete Entwhistle, Keith Moon, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughn just jammin'. They offered him his choice of any guitar and any amp ever made and let him join in.

He asked if this was the way it worked through all eternity. They told him they were on break and as soon as their leader came back, they wouldn't be able to call the songs or just jam.

Just then Karen Carpenter walked up to the keyboards and said "All right, everybody, one more time 'Muskrat Love' from the top".
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Are you sure that's how the joke went?

Karen Carpenter doing Toni Tennille. Yikes!

Someone posted this in the KJ recruiting thread, but for those wanting something more official, the last post on this link below is an interview with KJ immediately after his commitment to WSU.

"Considering all of those aforementioned schools who were showering Manigault with interest there's always a chance that he'll still be bombarded on the recruiting trail. Would that leave the door open to change his mind? "I will listen to what other schools have to say but I am 110% commited to Wichita State.""

I liked this from the very end of the interview when the interviewer was saying a word and Manigault was responding with the first word that came to his mind:

                Sickest move: crossover
                KJ Manigault: coachable
                Tyrone should be happy.

Good point Aargh. Tyrone will be drooling all over this guy.

That or sue him for stealing a patent. :)

This kid may think he has a wicked crossover but Tyrone will break him down and teach him the true fundamentals of the crossover. (think hoosiers - no ball just a lot of chair drills)
