I agree that we need better defense, but you wouldn't get that with the AND1 style of play.

I remember some things Marshall said at the "introduce the new coach" press conference.

Marshall likes to run transition. Secondary break is his next option. Then a set play or 2. Then a half-court motion offense.

That sounds like a run-and-gun high-scoring style, but there was something else.

Marshall likes to D it up and hold opponents to scoring in the 60-point range.

There are very few opponents on WSU's schedule where the potential score is going to be 90 - 60.

From Marshall's comments on how he likes to play the game, I'd expect WSU to be aiming for 67 -75 points per game and holding opponents to less than that. That's not And1-style basketball.

from my POV "and1" is to real basketball as pro wrestling is to NCAA wrestling. I would avoid attending or watching that type of program. There is a reason that NBA "stars" regularly now lose to international teams...star vs team...team wins.
Passes to the cutter are beautiful plays, if he dunks that's great but layups are a happy two too.

Except I'd rather watch pro wrestling over NCAA wrestling.

And I might actually watch AND1 before the NBA. At least the AND1 guys are up front about it whereas the NBA tries to pass itself off as a good league.

I dont think I would ever choose to watch a "fantasy" sport over the real thing.....and I hope you were making that statement with tongue in cheek..

No, I'd rather watch the soap opera that is pro wrestling over the real thing. I had friends that wrestled in HS and I just couldn't get into it at all. I look at pro wrestling as just another TV Show basically. I could at least kinda get behind or enjoy that.
