I'd sure like to see him part of Marshall's staff.

I missed most of the interview, but even I cringed at the "Toure could be 2nd team All Valley this year" comment....... and I LOVE Toure's upside.

The footage of Ehimen was self evident. As the saying goes, a picture is worth 1000 words. The young man has tremendous upside with above to way above average defensive skills, very limited offensive skills and he will make up for the latter with gynormous thunder dunk finishes around the rim from time to time. He is also tremendously strong and cut. If you are a WSU fan, you have to foam at the mouth watching this kid play.

Nevertheless, I thought Matt's comments were mostly fair and he touched on areas that will have to be addressed. I think he understands, more than most of us, that the level of talent and athleticism has taken a substantial leap forward.

If Matt is right about Ehimen at the 5 and Garrett at the 4 in a couple of seasons, then you can put Ricky at the point, Cold at the 2 and Sub at the 3 and we'll be in the top 3 of the Valley, minimum. That assumes Cold can't shoot free throws very well (I know RDR can)...you know, worst case scenario.

All valley honors are tough to come by. First step is winning a starting spot on your team, which Toure will have a lot of competition for. I liked and agreed with his analysis on Toure in that he is like a combo of PJ and Ogirri. Not as agressive as PJ, although much smoother and better outside shooter.

It's frothy, white, thick, sticky, soapy ... amazing! Do yours foam at the mouth when enjoying a chewy? Bless him...x

I look forward to watching the video when I get off work today. I like Toure, but that's a bold prediction for a FR.

I like Garrett at the 4, too, but will he be able to handle the other team's smaller, and probably quicker, 4?

I'm assuming that was the context based off of Doc's response.

The other 4's will be smaller for sure. Some will be quicker. But unless it's a 4 that has range and can get out and use his quickness, I think Garrett will be fine. He's not some oaf that can't move. And with his length I think will be fine. There are always going to be some matchups, but I don't think it'll be a major concern. Especially when you consider that if his man does get by him he's running right into Ehimen :D

If he is at the 4, maybe throw a zone at them to help out on that quickness of the opposing 4. EO, GS, AE, AJH, TM, imagine the space taken up by those wingspans.

Yes, this year. That was the context.
