  • Evansville signs a two-for-one series with North Carolina

They'll get destroyed, but what a good opportunity for that program. Three games in four seasons against one of the top teams in the country isn't a bad thing at all. I've always thought it was cool that Roy will try and schedule a game close to home for his players. Not enough coaches a big time programs around the country do this. Good luck to the Aces!

I do find it interesting that UNC would to to Evansville for even one game.

ABC, Roy Williams has always attempted to get his big recruits games close to their hometown. When at KU they played at North Dakota State for Jeff Boschee, at Nevada for David Padgett and even since he has been at Carolina he played at Saint Louis for Hansborough. If we want Carolina on our schedule maybe we hope that Perry Ellis decides to go to UNC.

So mark it down. Roy Williams will retire at the end of the 2009-10 season.

Awesome deal for the Aces! :good:

Did you guys see this article in the same newspaper. Now the AD lost his job over the Sampson debacle. He should have - but its funny that Sampson got the big buyout but everyone else lost their job. I don't understand why the NCAA doesn't put the coaches on a list (not to be hired) after they committ two major infractions.

More likely he would schedule KU and wear that silly bird on his chest as a display of his torn allegiance.

Congrats to the Aces. However, they won't feel so good after getting demolished this season by #1 UNC who bring everyone back. I'll say it now, chalk up a 50 point loss.

I think a game within 30 would have to be considered a moral victory for the aces. It ain't gonna be pretty, but they will get some exposure nationally for the beat down they're gonna take.
