any body know where he plans on going?

I have no inside info, but...

I think I recall Marshall saying (or expecting) that Braeuer would be a graduate assistant at WSU next year.

The next expectation is that nothing official will happen until fall classes begin. That would allow Braeuer unlimited access to the incoming players during the summer sessions. That creates an evaluation period for Braeuer.

Here are some questions that could get answered over summer that are likely to be critical to whether Braeuer is offered a Graduate Assistant coaching spot.

Can Braeuer demand and get the respect of the players on the roster?

Does Braeuer understand Marshall's system well enough to teach it to incoming players?

Can players demonstrate advancement in playing Marshall's system with Braeuer helping them understand the system?

If Braeuer can't do all those things, there's no way he can expect to be a Grad Asst next year. He's got to prove his value before his continuing at WSU is a done deal.

I expect Matt will be the unhired summer school coach

I'd be shocked if the answers to your three questions weren't yes, yes and yes.

Don't worry, I'm sure Matty will do all those things to be a grad coach.

Has last year's GA departed? O understood that he would have to leave (he could remain one more year) for Matt to be considered for the position.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

That's what I'd thought as well. But someone pointed out that KSU has 3 of them or something. I'd heard at one point that Ford had something lined up. Not sure if that was true or not as you'd think he'd have taken off by now if it were.

Well, Dana is still here at the moment, but after camps that may change, he was doing a lot of the work to get camps worked out and everything, so he may leave sometime in July

                  Matt Brauer

With regard to whether or not Matt knows Marshall's system, I recall on several occasions last season where Gregg Marshall made remarks that Matt was a very quick study. He said that Matt was frequently ahead of everyone else in the huddle during games with respect to what GM wanted to do next.

He is going to be in school at WSU next semester or at least in Wichita doing post grad work and I doubt it will be Friends or Newman so I would imagine he will be at WSU. With his coaching clinics over the summer going well, from what I have heard, and him being able to use the WSU facilities to hold the clinics I think that is a good sign that he may still be involved with the team. Besides doesn't his fiance have one more semester or year left of undergrad?

Listen to Aargh and MacShocker. Matt will continue making a difference.

Matt talked to us about his status.

While he was reticent to talk about the subject, his comments lead me to believe that his future on the staff is dependent on job interviews, which Coach Ford has had or will have this summer.

I can understand his reluctance to speak on the matter since Ford is still here.
