for the record I have never heard Dick Vitale speak badly about us. Matter of fact he doesnt talk about us at all.

And when he has its been nothing but praise.

Doug Gottlieb is the exception. This little homosexual needs to be fired and fast. 9.9/10 things that comes out of this little fairies mouth is either wrong or just plain stupid.

Jay Bilas will sing all kinds of praise about your program but will quickly "remind" everybody that you are only there because of the inferior talent you have to play throughout the year *gonzaga and memphis excluded*

Digger needs nothing typed about him.

And ill figure out something to type about Hubert *im getting barebacked by Dean* Davis sometime soon.

Furthermore, I actually like Andy Katz. I read his articles on ESPN and I look forward to them. But this bullshat is pathetic.

Now that I think about it, I don't think Vitale says anything bad about anybody anymore. I don't think he has since the '89 tournament, when he hammered on how overmatched Princeton was against Georgetown, and Princeton led at the half and only lost by one. Jimmy V, God rest his soul, gave him NO end of grief for that.

I thought Katz was an ally as well, but I agree with 7hot - don't expect any love until we show something.

      That being said.....

Gottlieb is just being what he always has been, a whiny little opportunistic imp that looks out for himself first and foremost, and isn't above sucking up to whoever he needs to get ahead. To his credit (pun intended) he did call out Jim Boeheim back in 2005, but calling Syracuse's non-con schedule soft is like calling the Pope Catholic (and why WSU will never get invited back to the Carrier Dome). He's a tool, pure and simple.

Of the rest of them, the one I can't stand most is Bilas. His condescending attitude to any team not in a power conference, or more like not in the ACC, is sickening. He can't say a good thing about anybody save the Dookies without qualifying it somehow.

I want to re-state my idea to replace the ACC/Big 10 Challenge: The ACC/MVC Challenge. I guarantee that the MVC would do better than the Big 10 (hell, you could put the City League in there and they'd do better than the Big 10), it would generate a lot more interest, some MVC teams would finally get to see the inside of an ACC arena outside of the NIT, and we'd get the chance to scare the hell out of whatever team had to travel to CKA. Of course, it will never happen because invariably some ACC teams would lose to some MVC teams and the RPI hit would move them down to a 4 or 5 seed instead of the 1 or 2 seed they all so richly deserve.

Bilas is the best college basketball analyst on TV. For a Duke grad, he is not nearly the Duke/ACC lover that Vitale and Patrick are. I think he's as non-biased as ESPN college basketball coverage gets. His columns on ESPN are always worth reading. You should check them out if you're not.

I can see why some non-BCS team fans wouldn't like him, though. He has said some controversial things along those lines.

I can promise you Gregg will enjoy correcting either of those 2 narcissistic bastadges whenever the opportunity arises. Predicting failure and questioning judgement of HCGM is not a particularly wise course of action, imho.
I always look forward to hearing commentary from the worst shooting point guard in the history of NCAA basketball, including all divisions.

Craig Steven would like a word with you right after you finish with Calvin Rayford.
          7,

Ah 7! I have not laughed this hard in a long time. Thank you.

Believe it or not, Craig was a better shooter than Gottlieb.

I don't anything about Rayford. So, I yield to you on ole Calvin.

As far a $$$ go, don't we pay HCGM more than the new coach at SC makes ? I'm glad that we are stepping up and paying "Major" $$$ instead of "Mid" $$$. I think that HCGM looked around late in the season and probably couldn't beleive the Chuck was SOLD OUT. DG and AK have no idea that in Mark Turgeons words, "WSU is a Major program in a Mid Major league".

I'm not an SC expert but I don't think that SC has ever enjoyed the sucess that WSU has in any sport other than football. Have they ever made any kind of run in the NCAA ? None that I am aware of but they still get the hype because of the conference they play in.

I have seen many coaches who were the toast of the MVC leave for a low level BCS and get buried in a few years. Dana Altman came from a low level BCS school to CU and is very well respected around the country. I beleive that HCGM will get to that level sooner rather than later.

Gottlieb and Katz both talk out of their arse's. Doug especially needs to drink something to wash the bug out of his.

So. Carolina has played 8 times in the College World Series.

It was the runner-up in 2004.

Their fans were pretty cool. If you don't believe me, just ask Shirley and Deer Slayer.

Katz and Turg are buddies. That might answer some questions.

                Speaking of second guessing.....

Who among us hasn't wondered where the Oklahoma Storm might be had they not chose Doug Gottlieb as their first selection in the 2000 draft instead of the very athletic Caswell Cyrus?

Maybe the Storm become the powerhouse of the USBL?

Life is all about choices people, it appears the Storm are still paying for that one.
