  • Cole-Scott leaves Bradley, dad fires parting shot

This isn't breaking news, but in case you hadn't heard:

This is the first I've heard of it. Who knows how this has all played out, but I'd think if Les and his staff had really pushed him out that TCS would have something to say. Him being so quite makes it look as if his dad has gone overboard and rather than come out and make his dad look worse, he's keeping quite hoping it'll all just die. But who knows.

Yeah I was at a basketball game in North Carolina and somebody told me that Jim Les had lost his program.

For those that dont read ValleyTalk there is alot of sarcasm in my post.

Whenever there is a highly competitive environment, there are always 'dead bodies' along the road.

It doesn't matter whether it is done 'bluntly' or 'nicely', the message is still the same.

After reading that, I suspect that the coaching staff told Cole-Scott that he would have to work very, very hard to see any court time. The assistant might have even used the words "living hell", but in the context of what it would take to improve enough to play.

Though I think they did try to force him out. 6am individual workouts? Is that common under normal circumstances?

Clemente does it voluntarily. If you have the heart and desire to be successful you do what it takes.

Seems as if the text (if there is one) would be the smoking gun. That would be rather easy to prove.

Isn't that the mandatory time with the new womens staff here?

2 a day practices are pretty common.

I know that when I wrestled in High School, we had practices at 6 am and 4 pm every weekday.

My freshmen practices in HS were at 6am.

What it comes down to is you do what you gotta do or you leave.

Hello guys.....Scott now says no text like Dad reported. Most from BU wish him well. He was a nice kid but never got it going for BU. He does say he was upset after NOT getting the starting job following his 39 point perfromance against d11 ambrosia in the pre-season. Hello. Who would he replace...Ruffin...Crouch.

Kind of reminds me of the basketball movie starring Robbie Benson...One On One.....circa 1977...the most famous line of the movie is when the head coach told Robbie Bensons Character that if he didnt voluntarily leave the program he was going to shove it up his a#% with a redhot poker....Am i the only one who remembers that??
