Seeing Sub hit 10,000 posts made me think of Ogirri's brother and his ridiculous sham of an effort to get to a home game of all 300 D-1 schools in one season. Pretty amazing that no one really gave him much crap for that. In fact, I got more crap for doing the math as to why it was impossible than he did for carrying out the charade in the first place.

Anyone know how many games he got to? I have no idea, but it seemed like about 12 out of 300, judging by the website.

Not comparing Sub's feat to that of Ogirri's brother...Sub never made outrageous claims. He also didn't espouse an equally lame affection for collecting tennis shoes, nor claim that he invented the question mark.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to prove that, due to scheduling problems, distance and the inability for an East Coaster to fathom the distances between locations out West, Ogirri's brother didn't know what he was talking about. No one ever rang him up on it...not even a little bit. All press releases and interviews and no planning or performance.

I admit, I was looking for any possible segue, and I took the first opening I could get.

Now I got it off of my chest and I feel better.

Congrats Sub - I know I join you in saying that we pledge not to let SN 'die out' this summer down to nothingness, and we will strive to discuss any and all things related to Shocker Basketball.

We will have a great season coming up, I can feel it!!!
