If can actually coach that might not be bad for him. He has good contacts and if he can get kids to choose to hang out in FL he might do alright.

That's the job Rex Walters left for San Fran isn't it?

That's correct Sub. It would be a very good job, and location for him if he can get it. A lot of those Northern East Coast kids would probably love to go South.

It doesn't list him as a favorite for the job. Do we even know if he is a good bench coach?

Scott, if you are listening, no offense, but they can have you.

Sounds like a perfect place for a goomba to hang out.

Maybe he can take Bowles with him.

The southern part of Florida... lots of alligators, snakes and bugs. Good place for him. 8)

I thought I read somewhere the Kramer Soderberg's father, Brad, was up for this job. Am I remembering right?

he definately didn't live up to his billing when he got here.. his recruiting was a bust, and i was incredibly disappointed with his coaching from the bench... i still contend that tad boyle was 99% of our rise from the ashes.

Yes, if you clicked on the link in the first post, you would see his name. He is one of the favorites along with Jarvis and Price.

Not that I want to defend the guy, but he was only here for a year and the only recruit I can recall ever showing up on campus was Gal. I believe Bowles and Baker were his as well.

His coaching skills are definitely debateable from what we've seen and heard.

Tad does appear to be a major part in what moved this program forward.

Anyone recall the rather humorous pre-taped interview they showed at halftime during a road game? For whatever reason, as he was seated in the chair he tossed about some interesting hand gestures right around the jewels – never stopped throughout the course of the entire interview - baddaboom
