  • Wu's News - Jim Schaus

I received this Wu’s News email message from Jim Schaus… thought it was worth sharing and posting in the basketball forum. Are there any former athletic directors in the Shocker Sports Hall of Fame?
If not, here’s a first ballot selection. The man did it with class!
    :good:

    "From Jim Schaus

    Dear Shocker Fans -

It is with great emotion that I am leaving my position as Director of Athletics at Wichita State University to accept a position at Ohio University.

The nine years my family and I have spent here have been my best personally and professionally. We have accomplished much, thanks to a team of staff, student-athletes and supporters. It is always hard to leave a place you love and care so much for the people involved.

We will truly miss everyone. I thank God to be blessed in being here so long and with the many wonderful people we have met. Thank you for your support over the years. All the best.

It will always be.... A Great Day To Be A Shocker!

    Sincerely yours,

    Jim Schaus

    Director of Athletics"
