judge and jury walk out hand and hand

seems like ku and unc are the all-time dark operators (shockers have long felt that brunt.. wichita state must not advance per ncaa). maybe less uk and ucla.

Maybe we are seeing the results many have predicted. Nothing.

Most likely outcome is that the NCAA COMMISH will announce that the University of North Carolina (NCU) has admitted doing nothing wrong, but recognizes the perception of the situation and will abide by the NCAA findings as follows:.

The NCAA will apply the modified "Power 5 Death Penalty" which has henceforth just been enacted for all "Power 5" schools only, for failing to monitor class attendance, which will consist of the following:

All NCU student athletes will be required to daily attend each scheduled class. This will be controlled by a selected Assistant Coach handing to the classroom instructor a listing of all the student athletes who are in attendance for that days scheduled class. Absences will be monitored and must meet requirements established by Head Coaches, such as playing road games, injured, or too pooped to attend.

Any student athlete who misses 30 classes in a row, will be referred to the Head Coach of the Student Athlete's specialty for disciplinary purposes at the Head Coach's discretion.

The Death Penalty Rules for Non-Power 5 Schools remain unchanged at the present time.

But Non-Power 5 Schools are reminded - Do not test us!

UNC asked for an extension as they are announcing a $4.5 billion capital campaign and of course the NCAA complied.

Only at UNC is it reasonable to think it takes $4.5B to understand capital letters.

Just wait til you see the price-tag on understanding the difference between capital and capitol.

                  That's ridiculous.

"UNC-Chapel Hill announced a drive to raise $4.25 billion by the end of 2022 in what is the largest campaign in the Southeast with the second-highest total among public universities."

"Friday’s campaign launch was almost overshadowed by a long-awaited NCAA final investigative report into UNC’s academic and athletic scandal involving African studies classes that never met. The NCAA reportedly notified parties in the case Thursday that it would announce results from the UNC case – which could include sanctions – on Friday. By late Thursday, a UNC official announced that there would be no Friday release by the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions, “due to scheduling circumstances.”

If anyone had any doubts about whether or not anything punitive was actually going to happen to UNC, I think this pretty well demonstrates how much UNC is dictating the situation.

They're practically daring the NCAA to do something.

I like how the announcement comes from UNC and not the NCAA.

Tail wagging the dog. And as for ESPN, they know where the money is...stoke ACC as much as possible for their own viewership numbers/profits.
