  • Battle of New Orleans - Complete game Video

Carr, Levingston, and Randy Smithson against KU with Darnell Valentine.

Video isn't bad considering it's over 30 years old.

The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I am going to be stuck in a hotel room this weekend in Florida, in hopes that my home in Port Orange along the coast does not get destroyed. This will give me something to watch and keep my mind off the hurricane.

1:11:58 (Thank God that right cross didn't land on J. Crawford).

Watched it and thought, just think what FVV could have done with that front line

Fred and Ron with the Bookends? Where would be a good spot for the natty trophy?

To this day, that's one of my favorite dunks of all time. Antoine just posterizes Crawford and walks away like he was tired of posterizing him. Great no look by Randy too.

Can you imagine what Twitter would have done with that back in the day?

I was there and recall searching for a pay phone after the game to call the Mrs. to see if any of our KU friends/family had jumped off a cliff. You know, hell was going to freeze over before the Shockers would ever beat them.

...and the announcer guy said that was Crawfords 5th foul. Then he was confused as to why they only had him with his 4th. Hmmmm....interesting...

Love the Levingston dunk to start the Shox off right 2-0.
For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.
