Hoping for a full and speedy recovery. UCONN's victories over WSU this season won't be as sweet without Landry playing in those games! :playful:

Just think if Stallworth and Bowman could have played?
I have often thought the outcome would have been different if Ralph was coaching with Dave and Nate playing!

I don't want to debate about AR. We all have different perspectives, mine being very critical of course. I don't want to ruin the AR hype this forum has. Personally, after watching him last season, his greatest strength for me is his confidence. I specifically recall a play where he drove straight to the hoop and (IIRC) reversed with the left. I thought he was lucky to get the bucket, but it showed me he will drive. Being that ZB, MM, CF are timid at the paint, I was impressed with AR's confidence. That being said, I stand by my thoughts on his impatience, and his ball handling. I will look forward to seeing how Gregg Marshall handles the new rotation possibility. I just sincerely hope that HCGM doesn't let Shamet get too excited and play him when he isn't ready.
I am still very bitter about watching a gimpy FVV in march, knowing that he didn't need to play in the early season. I know that Angel was absolutely unstoppable and made for quite the PG duel, but I still believe we could have beaten Miami with FVV at 100%.
If this team can win 2 games, at least, by double digits, and one of them isn't a play-in game (meaning advance to a sweet 16), it will have met traditional standards under GGG.

This is where this team might miss Daishon Smith.
A guy who can come in, check 94 feet, heat-up ball-handlers, and just create havoc on the court. He would've had a breakout second year with 3G.Why walk somebody in baseball when you can hit them?

The ONLY bright spot I can see out of this whole situation is that LS will get to spend some more time sculpting his physique and adding on some quality muscle mass with SCKR. The extra time spent with SCKR and the nutrition staff will no doubt make sure that LS's body can hold up to the riggers of an AAC conference schedule.

It'll be a pleasure to not have to listen to idiots say "Yeah, but we just don't know how good they are." Or, our personal favorite "Enjoy it now, because when Cleanthony is gone you guys will suck!"
